The building sits on the top of two islands which are the representations of sun and moon. The use of light texture on most sides of the monument has made a contrast to the colour of the islands which makes the monument stands out.

The building is a sculpture, it is formed by 10 rectangular prisms. The rectangular prisms stack together on the higher part of the sculpture makes the monument the focal point.

Apart from my own texture, I chose white and the transparent blue glass material to paint the monument since the shite painting and the blue transparent glass material are not only light which makes the monument stands out on the top of the island and can be seen from many different angles. On the other hand, the glass material is considered as the monument's ornament which makes the building look confortable.

There is a gulf which seperate the "sun" and "moon", however, the monument connects them together which makes the "Sun Island", the "Moon Island" and the monument stay together as a whole.
